Camp Branch Glade is a 58-acre minimally developed park located at 5151 W. 175th St. in Stilwell, Kansas. Opened in November 2014, this unique natural area features a rare limestone glade habitat, forested areas, and diverse ecosystems. The park offers a peaceful retreat for nature enthusiasts and is part of the Johnson County Park & Recreation District's efforts to preserve and showcase the region's natural beauty.
Park Features:
- 1.5 miles of unpaved nature trails suitable for hiking and equestrian use
- Three distinct trail loops: West Loop (glade area), Center Loop (cedar canopy), and East Loop (riparian corridor)
- Picnic tables on concrete pads with charcoal grills (one ADA accessible)
- Drinking fountain available seasonally (April 15 - October 15)
